- 2009 The biggest change for the '09 season is that I joined DC Velo. I'm really looking forward to racing with teammates. This should be a dramatic change in how I approach each race. No longer is it all about me, but its now about working hard for the team so that the team wins. After recovering from some pretty bad sciatica and bulging disc issues in the fall, I spent most of the Dec, Jan and Feb increasing my leg strength, building a sound cardio foundation and rebuilding my core strength. My plan for the 2009 season is to win some races, and help DC Velo be the top team in MABRA. 2008 Started strong winning the UMD President Cup Cat 4 race, and then placing 5th in the Walkersville's 35+ 4/5. Crashed at Poolesville and spent the rest of the early/mid season recovering from a separated shoulder 2007 Cat4: 3 top 10 finishes, and a lot of 20+ finishes. 2006 1st season of racing: won my first Cat 5 race at Seaford (RR) and the overall GC for the weekend. Mid summer, I upgraded to Cat 4. In early July, I crashed in a 40+ race fracturing my shoulder socket.

Ohhhh, I can top that one. My Wife has a pic of me weighing nearly 300 pounds in 2004. What a stupid fat fuck I was. And that was after racing at 200 pounds in 1999! I can't beleive you are 133! I was about to get happy that I cracked into the 180s this week. Nice look on your face in this pic. A little saucy?
OMG!! That picture looks like the vagrant who begs on Connecticut Avenue and the Beltway!! Hmmm, then again, I haven't seen that guy for years... I guess there's always a second chance in life. Hehe... I don't think I'd ever post a picture like that of me on the web.

If you clicked on the each of the blog titles you would get the inline comments on the bottom of each blog.
The default text for the template was black before so that the text was not visible unless you highlighted it. Now it displays properly.
If you clicked the comments link it would get you to just the comments page which is white with black text and is easily viewable.

I think our esteemed youngster is making fun of the fat old man. I think what he's saying is that he doesn't see a difference between my physique of 2004 and today.
Sorry.. I guess age is getting to me as I didn't catch the youngster's jokes quickly enough.
